It was all out of his depth, to be honest. Was it because Lance trained dragons? He remembered talk of them being rare, even in their 'natural habitat' of Lance's home world. Maybe that was why people would be excited to battle him. (Although he couldn't quite grasp the memory, the knowledge that 'battles' were more akin to a sport dredged itself up after a moment of consideration, which made the whole thing a little more sensible, at least.)
